“Non-communicable diseases and aging across the lifespan“
Following a cell to society perspective, the joint session on aging will highlight the spectrum of investigation at the forefront of aging research. Dr. James Kirkland will discuss an emerging geoscience hypothesis on aspects of aging critical to the development of all chronic diseases. Dr. Luis Miguel will focus on the process of aging in developing countries. Dr. Raina will present how life course influences can impact biological age and the occurrence of multiple chronic conditions.

This workshop is open to ALL REGISTERED undergraduate, graduate students, residents and interns, post-doctoral fellows, early career investigators (within 5-years of completing a terminal degree, such as PhD or MD). Pre-registration to the workshop is required.
