Professor Brian Oldenburg

Brian Oldenburg is the Professor of Public Health and Implementation Science at the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute and LaTrobe University. He is also Director of the NHMRC-funded CRE in Interactive Digital Technology to Transform Australia’s Chronic Disease Outcomes. He is a behavioral scientist and global expert in the prevention and control of diabetes and other chronic conditions. He has pioneered many technology platforms and digital health solutions to improve chronic disease outcomes in Australia and other countries, in particular, for diabetes and heart disease. He is also a global expert in implementation research training and capacity building programs in Australia and globally, including developing countries.
